Gli oooOOO!?! sono un duo folk nato a Como dalla collaborazione con l’artista francese Beatrice Bailet che unisce suggestioni date dal paesaggio ad elementi del proprio background, con elementi di riflessione sul paesaggio, costruzione della tradizione (suggestioni dal fenomeno del cargo cult) e spazio pubblico.
Dal ronzio degli idrovolanti, che continuamente sorvolano il lago, è nata “vingt cinq kilometre a pied”, basata sulla struttura del canto a bordone è l’unione tra una filastrocca francese e il repertorio per Launeddas(strumento a fiato sardo).
The oooOOO!?! are a folk duo born in Como from the collaboration with the French artist Beatrice Bailet that combines suggestions from the landscape and elements of our personal background, with a reflection on the landscape, construction of a tradition (suggestions form the cargo cult fenomena) and public space.
From the humming of the airplanes that continuously fly over the lake it take form “vingt cinq kilometre a pied”, song based on the structure of the drone singing is the combination of a French nursery rhyme with the repertoire of the Sardinian woodwind instrument, Launeddas.
